here's the story: Materazzi pulled Zidanes's shirt, Zidane said "if you want my shirt you can have it after the game" then Materazzi said "i woud rather have you'r sister" and then Zidane haedbutted him. Aparantly Materazzi did not know that Zidane had a sister, before after the game..

Omg does nobody know any of the facts yet? That is a true clip from the 2006 world cup final between France and Italy. Materazzi was being verbally abusive to Zidane so Zidane headbutted him. I'm not saying that that excuses what Zidane did but at least he had a reason. Then a month lkater I hear on the radio that Zidane got a 3 match ban, which is useless as he is now retired, and he was fined £300. Because Zidane is now retired he was GIVEN the choice to swap his 3 match ban for 3 DAYS

The headbutt wasn't that powerful, Materazzi dived quite a lot. I would be surprised if anyone in the world hadn't seen this many times, even americans.. .
