It´s a turtle without its shell

They have been showing this on the news alot. Its not a turtle without a shell because without a shell a turtle would look basically like a head and legs, the shell is the turtles spine so it wouldnt even be intact. Ive heard that it is a dog that fell off someones boat and had been in the river for a while.

It's a dog or large cat body..In the water for awhile. And someone screwed with the head. Different body parts put together. The picture is crappy, they don't give different angles.
