I don't know if this is real or fake but the water in this bottle turns to ice in a matter of seconds. What does everyone think? Is this real or fake?

u never no unless u no but hey i dont but it was weird

Pnuema775Feb 19, 2006 1:13 AM
Maybe it has some kind of chemical in it or something.

x0x halo x0xFeb 19, 2006 7:24 AM
I do not think that they used water in this videos i think they used some strange chemical that when you shake it up it freezes or something, it is definity not water.(-L-)

BEN JI BOYFeb 19, 2006 7:45 AM
bunch of bull

sonshnerFeb 19, 2006 8:10 AM
yeah this is real. there is a scientific liquid that is its shaked around it will instantley freeze. its not water i should know i worked with it in the lab!

joelhelibustosFeb 19, 2006 9:44 AM
could be a science nerd

DirecTVguyFeb 19, 2006 10:21 AM
its not ice, its not even cold. its a gel. have seen several times before.

joeycasFeb 19, 2006 10:22 AM
That video is real. I've done it before. All you have to do is to take bottled water (not tap water) and put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes. You have to get it right before it freezes though. Then all you have to do is shake it up and it will instantly frost over. Try it out it really works.

freedomfighterFeb 19, 2006 12:32 PM
It probably isn't water in the bottle but instead a chemical that freezes at room temperature!

CorisFeb 19, 2006 2:40 PM
That water doesnt turn into ice, theres this powder you can get that in small amounts when added to water, it turns it to gel. The gel is kind of cloudy and is still plyable, you can see this when a little water comes out when he turns the bottle over, and you can see the gal moving around inside the water...STUPID TRICK!

mrjokerFeb 19, 2006 2:42 PM
what chemicles did he use???

redphantomFeb 19, 2006 3:20 PM
fake big time but well don

dehydrochlorideFeb 19, 2006 3:20 PM
yeah, its called oop goop, lol. when its moved a lot (like being shaken) its cogeals (soelling?)

exafcopFeb 19, 2006 3:30 PM
You can take dessicant (the little package that comes in some of the things you buy to keep it dry) tear the package open and it will do the same thing. The more dessicant you have, the more water it will soak up instantly. It is amazing how fast it works. It mixes with water and makes a gel like the video.

joseph is retardedFeb 19, 2006 9:53 PM
i dont know but if it wuz that cold........ouchy!

MediocreDemonFeb 19, 2006 10:27 PM
it turns into a goop tahts not even ice, who the hell runs this site? whoever it is is bad at all the games on the site and isnt very smart.

Bob The DoggFeb 20, 2006 6:33 AM
Well, I don't know if _this_ is water, but you can certainly do this exact thing with a bottle of water brought right to the freezing point in a freezer. I do this all the time at work. Take it out of the freezer it's liquid, toss it in the air in a spin and it freezes solid instantly.

lcfr732_emtFeb 20, 2006 9:33 AM
lame, that was fake. he used a powder that turns liquid into a solid in secs and its colorless, so it can be used in any liquid. friend of mine has some

brickjuiceFeb 20, 2006 3:07 PM
its real i seen it happen with beers that were left in the freezer too long..... you take one sip and in then it freezes just like that... its pretty cool unless its your last beer

rabbit0900Feb 20, 2006 9:21 PM
That was so cool! I think it's real because it might be magic or something.I want to see more stuff like this.

johnboyFeb 28, 2006 3:57 PM
its not freezing into ice, it is a powder compound, the same as used in baby diapers, turns liquid into a clear solid

kewlaideMar 05, 2006 1:29 PM
i dont believe the water turned frozen, i have seen this before, it just turns into some kinda solid substance.

ragdollMar 15, 2006 12:13 AM
real??

ragdollMar 15, 2006 12:14 AM
i dont think its water ??

biker751Mar 19, 2006 1:40 PM
its fake there is no way that can be real it cant freeze that fast in a house.

Inferno BobMar 19, 2006 6:14 PM
You guys are all idiots. I've seen 3 videos like this, and let me tell you. It IS REAL and it IS PLAIN WATER. Actually, the difference between this water and our tap or bottled water is that, this water has zero impurities. For water to actually freeze at it's freezing tempurature, there must be impurities such as dust present. He has cooled it to below the freezing tempurature but it's not freezing because it has no impurities to "freeze onto". Then once the water gets dust, it freezes.

mgreen1Mar 30, 2006 4:51 PM
fake of course but how do they do it? cold room?

wessenMar 31, 2006 9:28 PM
I've seen this personally 3 times, all 3 were with pepsi in bottles, glass, glass and the last time a 2 litre plastic bottle. I have a habit of putting my soda in my freezer and taking them out when they get to "slush" state..well over the years I dont know how or the reason for it, but after an hour or two in the freezer some are still full liquid state but once you gently shake them they instantly freeze, still freaks me out when it happens.

wessenMar 31, 2006 9:34 PM
oh yeah the 'powder' stuff or crystals that absorb liquids and turns water in a solid are called polyacrylamide and whats in this video isn't a copolymar crystal trick.

freakygApr 06, 2006 9:16 PM
im not no scientist or nothing but i think he mixed 2 clear liquids and then it turned into ice cause u didint c it ween he poured the wutever it is in the bootle

freakygApr 06, 2006 9:29 PM
well never mind i guess its the pouder stuff u guys r talking bout,i need some of that stuff, mystery solved, oh and Inferno Bob u r full of cow dung

EmotionApr 15, 2006 6:41 PM
of course it's real! it's plain bottled water!

slipetzApr 25, 2006 6:59 PM
this trick uses a powder which in a matter of seconds changes a liquid into a solid slush like thing...

Migs2000May 01, 2006 4:13 PM
My friend told me about this. The water is not freezing. All you do is add gelatin to the water and it becomes all goopy.

x0x halo x0xMay 06, 2006 9:20 AM
Well i am going to try this now... i have put approximately a cup of water in a yogurt container, i will leave it in there for a little while but just before it freezes. we'll see what happens

x0x halo x0xMay 06, 2006 10:33 AM
Well it didn't work so i decided to just drink the water.. COLD! :P

MadagascarMay 07, 2006 3:01 PM

katurooJun 08, 2006 7:57 PM
this is not ice, its a form of geletan.

MYKJul 22, 2006 12:14 AM
This IS real. catch your water just before it freezez and turn it upside down or shake it. It will become a slushy ice in a matter or seconds!

MYKJul 22, 2006 12:17 AM
I have made my regular water bottle with regular water do this in my regular freezer! it is quite real!

sortethegodJul 25, 2006 3:18 PM
they r using something called slush powder. go to penquinmagic.com and search slush powder. it is actualy fun to prank ppl by turning their beer into slush when they r not looking

pysAug 18, 2006 7:48 PM
it reminds me of that powder that turns water in to jelly..

deedsJun 21, 2007 2:29 PM
that was pretty koool dude

woozAug 20, 2007 8:29 AM
