Call the cops? I'd get a camera that is motion activated (they exist), and have it send an e-mail to me whenever someone gets close to it. Upon receiving the e-mail, I would have an alarm wake up. Up to the window with a shot gun I'd go. Tresspassing? Oh yes.

WOW! I've done some good door to door stuff in my day, but that takes prize when it comes to door to door. I would go buy a camera that same day!
