I think this time the interviewer went too far and Tom handled the situation well. There are times for jokes but this is not the time. Celebrities aside, would an interviewer spray water towards a president, teacher, priest during their presentation ? I assume not, so there is nothing to do with ego. Just inappropriate.

I love how people say "press charges" as though there was something to press on about. Last I checked humans love water, we need water and we would die without water. A squirt of water in the face is about infinity less harmful then some cigarette smoke looming around, yet I seem to be exposed to cigarette smoke every day. Mr. Cruise needs to realize that since he fraternized with Oprahs couch he has become the butt of all jokes within the entertainment world. I understand how he might feel as though he was taken advantage of in an interview, but again he must realize that people dont respect his image and if he doesnt have a sense of humour about it he will lose his ratings as a movie star. I think anything done to celebritys like this is great. They think they are above all others. I am sure, actually I know, he is EXTREMELY rude to the people that wait on him hand and foot on sets and demands far more than any human deserves.
