The Things That Matter
This ladies father passed away and it made her think about how we write obituaries for people. Nice video.

well maybe a lot of you are just shallow people.. people and their stories matter..
PLATE!!
Agree w/ below 2 comments..we all have a story, but who cares..everyone wants to be smart.."For a smart man learns from his mistakes..but a wise man learns from the mistakes of others"
Yawn..
don't wanna be a dick, but the O-bits aren't there to tell someones life story! She is totally missing the point. The O-bits are a way for people who know the departed to find out that they have died, not blab on about accomplishments or memories, that part is for the funeral and later times with friends.
KNIFE!!
i have thought about this myself.. those short Obits dont do the job!
wow
Life is not about stories, tales or fables. Life is about action, as meager as it is to type into a little box formed with html code from a server to my pc viewed via a web browser while I sit in a chair, is still an action. And although this video itself is an action, it is a video imposing the idea onto it's watcher that you, I and everyone should tell stories rather than remember lessons, learn how to do things for ourselves and continue the cycle of our growth in existence.
I don't think I know what I would tell this woman, or camera person, or her father. All I can hope is that they do not dwell on the stories of the past but rather hum to themselves for a moment being ever ready for this moment and at best, the next.
