Judges let these punks out of jail -- any crime committed with a gun or knife should get at least 30 years. Any judge or parole board who lets them out should be 30 years. If a gun is fired in a crime or in running from police, life in prison.

Middy1 your comment I feel misrepresents you and your country. Be careful with what you chose to say, it reflects your closed minded thinking. First of all, banning guns still allows for criminals to have access to guns because they are imported from "other countries" illegally. Banning guns only hurts legal gun owners who follow the laws not the criminals who can gain access to guns regardless.

this is not what cops deal with "everyday". They dont get there cars sprayed up with machinegun fire on a daily basis, nor do they get in shoot outs everyday. Get off the cops nuts. There just normal people with a job to do, and there job has authority. Cops deserve respect the same as the mailman.

I totally agree dragon1. Cops deserve 500% respect and I applaud them all. Without them we wouldn't be safe. I hope when they caught this guy they did a job on him. To all police officers thank you!!

People wonder why many in law enforcement appear to be pissed all the time. This is a prime example of what they have to deal with everyday. You would have attitude too, if your job put you out there with a bunch of "idiots" day after day. getting shot at when you least expect it. It's a very dangerous job and these men and women should be commended for what they do for the public!
