Rules of conduct should be installed insuring respect of the teacher and the students. That student's impertinent behavior should cause his expulsion. What instituted the push by the teacher? The student 's punching calls for his discipline.

actually i saw this on the news and the student started it by goating the teacher into it and it proves that kids are asses and whom that posted this to be *cool* is a dumb ass

Teachers have a proven track record of enlightening generations, innovative teaching strategies, and being looked up to so much that their profession is second to Ministers when it comes to being trusted in a public national pole. We didn't watch the whole story. Granted a few apples spoil the bunch when it comes to bad behavior by teachers- but don't judge based on a 1 minute video that shows no context.

Teachers have a proven track record of perversion, egotism and control freak mentalities who are nothing but prison guards and Government sanctioned LIARS who should be removed from positions of power.Remember that student had no choice but to be there defending himself from Government abuse.

I agree with greg k, I grew up in the same time frame. I think this kid needs his a** kicked by his parents..would've happened to me. Otherwise, we're going to see this kid in the future on the news for doing some f**ked up adolescent criminal crap..guaranteed. The future of our society should not be run by hoodlums who think they can get away with whatever they want. "Nanny-hood" society needs to be abolished, and the real punishments need to resume..unless you want to watch the end of civilization as we know it..which seems to be the goal nowadays!

Unacceptable behaviour on both their parts. more so the Teacher as he is expected to provide an example to students and the community. This incident could have escalated to a most serious situation.

The teacher shouldn't have touched the student..that's what security if for. I saw a student try to hit a teacher once..but the teacher was young so he just got the student in a head lock. I also heard of a female teacher being chocked-out by a student.
