Snow Plowing Train

It's pretty neat to see this train plow through some huge piles of snow. If you were standing by the tracks you would probably be covered.

pretty intense. reminds me of being in Minn. and seeing double-semi snow plows clearing the highway at night. they didn't see a VW bug buried in a snow bank and just pushed it end over end along with the snow for about 200 ft. pretty scary in that area- no overpasses, to cross the highway you wait for an opening and just drive across that and mile long trains to wait for

That's awesome! It's an unprotected crossing meaning no lights or gates. He's doing what's called a "shove" move with the car in front of the engine and you're right - he can't see! So by federal law, you must have a man on the ground in contact w/ the engineer when shoving across an unprotected crossing. Nice job!

That engineer Is pushin about 60 tons of steel down that rail, and he cant see a frikin thing. That Is probably why he has to have spotters at every intersection. Talk about driving while blind!
