At first it was a man under the airplane, but you could see no leg movement. It was a doll. Standing an airplane on it tail is possible with the RC Simulator called Real Flight.

That's real. He really hung on to the plane and took a ride like that. It's real.

Clearly that is a doll attached to the plane. But damn, those are some huge RC planes.
