this is in montgomery, alabama. his name is Sammy stephens. he has been in newspapers, visited schools in the area, and been on the ellen degeneres show. he is very popular in this area. the occasional carnivals that stay in the parking lot make big bucks with people always coming to the area to meet big al. some people call him mr. al. out. bama. I personally have met him, and i think the only other competing flea market is eastbrook flea market. it has a nice commercial but it doesn't compare.
