Actually look at the fire hydrant again. It looks like it is not even hooked up as the cap is off. Conclusion: no harm but the dumb cop trying to harass ppl video taping.

He should've just reported this guy to the local captian..the cop works narcatics, if it were me..I wouldn't want anyone filming me..now that cop can't work undercover..cuz U can see his face and even better..his family..so best thing to do is report them..those reports come up when its time for their raise.

Even if he got a ticket..the city would probably pay it..and if there was a fire..firemen wouldn't care if it was a cop car..they'd get at that hydrant one way of another.

I applaud you Jimmy justice. The delusion that exists in the public servants minds that they are able not obey the rules is horrifying and disgusting. I hope that man receives a fine triple that of what a non-public servant would receive as well as assault charges and attempted theft charges. Next time I walk up to a cop and try and gank his walkie-talkie from his hand I'd like to see if I could walk away without a fight.
