they should charge the amount of the planes to the responsable people for these crashes ! billions of Euro involved here..simply now put on the bill of..the taxpayers !

It is the Saab JAS 39 Griffin on this clip! One of the first testflights when the computeraided fly-by-wire system wasn't working so well.. The pilot survived that crash. But he crashed once more at the Stockholm Water Festival a while later! Ejected himself that time and the plane crashed at probably the onle spot in Stockholm not filled with people. He survided that one too:) Retired as a pilot after that!

That's not a eurofighter typhoon (eurofighter has 2 engines). it's a Saab (griphhen maybe).

@Shrane: you have a point. sounds like you know about as much as me. it could very be possible. it does look like the computer/pilot(?)pulled the nose up too far right before the plane touched and scraped the rear wing. after that it makes tons of sense for there to be a computer than a pilot because of the jerkyness pf the landing.

I'm not at all sure about this, but ill go ahead and say it anyway. (Maybe someone more knowledgeable can correct me) The way the fighter lands on that strip, just seemed too clunky/robotic. I seriously doubt a pilot would control his aircraft like that before landing. Maybe it is unmaned test craft? Either way things like that do unfortunately happen sometimes, and my heart goes out to all of them.
