Asking people to call you "Doctor" is ridiculous (unless you're a physician and you're in your office). But a judge calling a defendant "Honey" is both unprofessional and demeaning.
It's right for him to want to be addressed as an adult (although he screwed up by, among other things, demanding to be called doctor). |
