OK, so there is NO champagne on the face of the planet that one uses a corkscrew to open. If you are going to use a blade, it is traditional to use a sword.

but you don't need a corkscrew or anything to open a champagne bottle - it err kind opens itself cos of zee pressure! (Only a stupid dumb ass would open it with a f'ing meat cleaver!)

and then there is glass in the bottle
