Not All Turtles Are Slow

OK, so I thought all turtles were slow until I saw this video. This gives new meaning to that old story the tortoise and the hare. :)

zj skrew, I own a species called Trachemys scripta elegans. They live in water and are fast as hell. I have them for over 14 years now.

See the fable has the tortoise for a reason. Big difference from a soft shell ocean turtle.

Only land turtles are slow, the ones that live in the water like that one are fast.
