well we do have the right to have guns but what gets me is i can kill a man and go to jail for life i can have a wife and kids die for my god and land all at the age of 18 but i cant drink a beer idk im kinda lost on that one

These ppl that built that thing and they ones who fired it are crazy!!!! Where I come from, (Canada) the only guns are shotguns and they are for hunting! My thoughts on gun control is that there should only be SOME guns for SOME trustable ppl. And they should have to fill out a huge form and stuff. I support the troops , but i hate the fact they are in Iraq. I am not a fan of Bush. I moved from Canada and now live in Hungary, (Europe) where the only guns are the ones in World WAr 2 guns.

this mini gun, while potentially dangerous, is obviously for demonstration and exhebition(sp?) purposes. we have a right to bear arms as given to us and protected by the constitution. any infringement on this is clearly a violation of our constitutional rights. you may argue that making guns available makes it easier for criminals to aquire firearms, but studies have been conducted and in areas where gun ownership was encouraged, crime occured at a lower rate than where guns were restricted.

For all u ppl out there that say guns r bad u guys dont have a brain. Guns dont commit the crime, ppl use guns to commit the crime just like they use screw drivers and baseball bats, r we gonna start outlawing those too? Alright, I come from a military family, I also come from a gun loving family. My father is an rifle/shotgun instructor for the NRA and the Boy Scouts of America, I'm a member of the NRA and a instructor for the National Archery Association. Both organizations teach the values of safe gun/bow use and that neither should be used to take a human life. It's not the guns that kill people, it's the people that kill others, we shouldn't outlaw guns, we should outlaw people.

I think we should have a firm policy on guns but they should never be outlawed. Mainly because if our country was ever attacked what are you going to use to defend your family a bat? Im no nut and dont want war but your gov and local lawenforcement could not come to gether quick enough to save everone. Im not saying a few ol boys can stop them but they'll surly slow them down. If you say we souldn't fight them and let our gov I'll see you in pow camp or at the graveyard.

Guns don't kill people. Niether do other people. Severe blood loss or major organ failure causes death. This CAN be caused by a projectile fired from a gun, however, the gun itself only directs the projectile to the desired target; AND in order to do so, it has to be aimed by an individual who intends to destroy this target.

In Japan, one of the most crowded countries on earth, where there is a good control on guns, unlike in the U.S.... 62 people are killed a year by guns, in the U.S., every year there are 11,896 gun murders a year! That is 33 kills a day! so every 2 days, that is higher than the amount of gun kills in Japan, a year! Suck on that freaks!

This is some guy that simply as a hobby designed and built this thing in his spare time. Give me a break " take it off the streets??" Im sorry did any one see what he was shooting at. Perhaps it was some hay bails in his back yard!! I don't know too many Gang Bangers with the time and money to design something like this. In Britain we don't have guns other than the army and armed officers, we get along unarmed against criminals, the most a guy can do is use a knife in britain but a normal person would either run when they see it ro deck him unarmed. i have an ak47. i've never killed anyone. and i never plan on killing anyone.but i do agree with strict gun control. i believe there should be psychological testing before anyone can own any type of firearm. it should apply to law enforcement and military personel, alike. if this guy went to the trouble to make this himself, which i kind of doubt. i say let him keep it. oh and the most cretainly are real butllets. they are 22.cal magnum rounds.

i was wrong. they are hornady's .17cal mach 2's nearly the same size as a .22cal round but shorter and contain more powder.

u no in china there is little gun violence cuz everyone is so worked up in money that they dont give a dam bout some gun, and the penalty for killing a man is death. I, unlike the rest of you, know what this is. It is a miniature replica of a Browning 1919 machine gun. It was made back in the early 1980's by Tipman (Tippmann?) which is Now owned by Lakeside Machine (www.lakesideguns.com). Yup, that's right. It's over 20 years old.

Do you idiots know how much a legal M16 machine gun costs? About $15,000. Just so you know, a semi-auto M16 (aka AR15) costs? about $1,000. The kind of people who legally buy machine guns are not the kind of people who go on killing sprees. This little gun was designed and manufactured as a collectible and a novelty. Considering that only a few were made, and they are handmade, and legally registered, they are worth a TON of $$$.

I mean, a fullauto Ruger 10/22 is $10G's, when the normal version is only $200. Imagine how much a custom creation like this is worth. It's not a killing machine, it's a neat replica!! It is rare, collectible, valuable, and over 20 years old. In case you don't know, the US banned the import/manufacture of fullautos in 1986. That's why they are so rare and expensive! - ps it fires 22LR ammo, the smallest, weakest, cheapest ammo still made (22 short was weaker, but is no longer made)

I've done a little more research. Apparently a semi-auto version of this is worth about $4,000 and a full auto like this one is worth over $17,000. And as a note, this gun is not 'on the street'& not a 'crime gun'. A HiPoint 45 may not fire as fast as this gun does, but each shot is so powerful that is is actually much more deadly that this miniature machine gun. And frankly, violence is easier when the gun is cheap(you can throw it in the river) (A HiPoint 45 semi-auto pistol costs about $150.)

Ya someone did make that machine gun called Lakeside Machine in Pound, WI. Why should you feel that a neat little gun such as this should be taken off the st?? I live in california and own a semi auto 1919 .17 same as the video but I pull the trigger for every shot. Now if they can only make a .17 PKM or MG42 yeah!

There is such a thing as a Automatic weapons permit for non-felons. Sure the rounds this weapons shoots are leathal in the right spot, but still, its probably not very accurate.

My personal view is that guns are not the most dangerous weapon that people can get thier hands on because there are people who make liquid explosives out of house hold shit, you can make napalm out of soap and they buy the material from Krogers without question, but guns you have to fill a form then wait to be abroved to own such a gun and show a licence to own guns. So you tell me what is more dangerous.

first off i do not need to call anyone a foul name, that would just show that i had no real contention behind me. ok ok so here: modern day "hunting" is not really sporting at all, what with the high powered rifles with telescopic scopes and the camouflage and scents and such or even worse- tree stands.... what im getting at is that it takes no real test of skill to wait hidden in a tree all day invisible and scentless to some harmless majestic stag half of a mile away as you watch through a scope and then in one "glorious" fraction of a second move your index finger a fraction of an inch sending a basaltic tip 5.56 NATO (.223) round through its unsuspecting skull. In my opinion any "real man" {or "real woman"?} of a hunter should have to stalk his pray naked through the forest, actually run it down, and then proceed to bludgeon it to death with a rock or a stick- now THAT would take more skill and courage than the lot of you self proclaimed "hunters" put together!!!! who could disagree? as for home defense- there have been innumerable studies in the United States which for decades have all come the same conclusion that households with firearms for defensive purposes are or have been exponentially more likely to have an accidental death or serious injury of a beloved family member caused by the household's own firearm!!! please take time to research this subject on google before you ignorantly accuse me of making this up, because regrettably for all those who have been killed or permanently maimed, i am not lying- it happened to my neighbors firstborn son and his life is still in shambles. remember this life is no video game, and you cant call back bullets. also the "right to bear arms" is actually the right to arm, maintain, and operate a "well trained militia" and i don't think many of you gun enthusiasts really qualify....
