40th Anniversary Of The Moon Landing

On July 20, 1969 we landed on the moon. This video takes a quick look at that even and how it was covered by the late great Walter Cronkite.

stevie d -- most people who question the moon landing: 1. are young men who weren't born at the time; 2. grew up in an era where they were consistently lied to by government and big business, so their first instinct, understandably, is to assume that everything's a lie; 3. have seen lots of CGI in movies where they know that the very realistic-looking effects are fake. Sound familiar?

To 'me55' you can't see the flag because at our angle to the moon we are looking down on it! With out Light being disfused by (Air, or something) it would also only show up in Black and White use a bigger scope "freqstyle' E.T. knew we did thats why he could phone home!!

stevie d .. no that's not the reason. Basically, once all the awe-inspiring hoopla was over, there wasn't really much point in continuing to go to the moon. The International Space Station, and the Hubble Telescope are far more scientifically efficient. Even Apollo 11 astronaut Mike Collins thinks that going to the moon again will just distract us from something more useful. (i.e. Mars!)

Not saying it did'nt happened but I am a bit skeptical. Why is'nt man landing on the moon in this day and age?Could it be cause we the public have the technology today that those in the past did'nt have and maybe we'll be able to expose the lie that those in the past were'nt able to do?I don't know,it's possible, right?
