Killer whales run up on shore like this all the time, especially when chasing seals or sea lions. You can see how it works its body back and forth to move back into the water

njgiantsgirl....that's not why they call them "killer whales", because they attack see lions. They call them that because they kill whales! They themselves are not whales, but part of the dolphin/porpoise species. It is the largest of the dolphin family. They are the only cetaceans that habitually feed on warm-blooded aquatic mammals and sea turtles, as well as fish and seabirds. And there is no proven evidience of any human being attacked by them.

I hate killer whales. when it is the sea lion breeding season and the little sealions are out playing in the shalow water the killer whales will come and bite one and bring it out to sea and play with it while it is still alive for about half an hour. Then after being head butted and tail slapped they will finally eat it. That is why I hate killer whales, the needless tormenting of other animals.

oh my god this video is bad cause i love seals and then i watched this how sad!those seals were cute. That killer whale was huge to !!

this vid sucked. it didn't show the true power of the killer whales. I kept waiting for it to flip the sea lion back and forth to kill it. poor sea lions.
