I think if designed for people with LIMITED mobility, it is far better than anything on the market, but a bike or quick walk would make for more sense,but I can see where this would work for some!

I agree w/ riding a bike..I wouldn't buy it unless it could ready at the very lest 30mph..preferably 50mph..so it would be good for long distances..lets ban women from riding it..especially like the one that tried to drive that golfcart.

Ya once that thing gets hit by a car the person dies. But maybe all the fat that the person builds up from sitting in that thing all day will save them.

And now we are waiting for the first video showing a moron trying to do a backflip in a iWheel.

while this chair does seem cool, i gotta agree with sandscorpion, and i have to add, that in a collision at the top speed, there will be injured peple since there its got no seat belt

^^ SandScorpion hit the nail on the head. A bike not only is quick for short traveling, it also GIVES YOU SOME EXERCISE! Which everyone could use. Specially those fat people. Or just walk. Good grief.

So it's for short trips then? I dunno but I have a bicicle and it can hendle short trips pretty well. This is like the lazy mobile. And people are wondering why there are so many overweighted people.. Use your bicicles! xD
