the real hummers are not a joke, but the assembly line "hummers" are. military issue hummers would have flown up that hill. civilian hummers are genuine overpriced crap.

i am big into off roading mostly hill climbs and mud but lately a lot of rocks that was all the drivers fault not the h2 but my jeep is still better

Well from what I hear the Hummer H2 is nothin but a Hummer Body installed onto a chevy suburban chassis..It hittin those rocks is what broke the tie rod.

This just goes to show my point all along -- the H2 is just a Hummer body bolted onto a Chevy Suburban chassis. It is a pale version of the H1, which would just mow over that terrain.

Well, it's a "Hummer" H2 - you can tell by the logo on the brushplate. The H2 is not a Hummer - It's a Suburban wearing a costume. You can't expect it to perform like a real Hummer.

Since they started selling hummers to the public--they've been made cheap but are costly--I've always wanted a "real" hummer--military hummer--but not now that all the yuppies bought them and they live in the city--what wusses--they probably buy the spray on mud too--I think the people that drive hummers are lame. Serves 'em right--
