This is from a 50 caliber gattling gun. Which they have mounted under most of your tactical helicopters.

That is a GAU-8 Avenger seven-barrel gatling gun, mounted only on the A-10 thunderbolt that is used by the air national guard. it shoots 1,800 rounds per minute.. witch is insane. its also a 30mm depleted uranium armor pericing round... it is not for helo use.. the recoil from that gun would make a heli do a flip.. owned? -Tyler

if it was one-million, you'd here high-pitched sound becuase of how fast it goes. you can here like the sparate vibrations of the bullets shooting... and if it was 1000000 a minute, thats over 12000 bullets a second... getting shot by it would be discusting. i dont know the point we're doing fine with our ak-47's or whatever.

I'm pretty sure thats the gattling cannon that is mounted on the A-10 Warthog, the gun is made specially to more or less 'eat' a tank

that son of a bitch is called the firestorm cx7, it uses electronic shocks to fire the bullets rather than a metal pin, this allows the firing rate to be extrememly fast. cool shit

Not Artillary mind you...do you know what an A-10 Is? Its the cannon thats mounted In the nose section of an A-10 Ground attack aircraft.

This is the General Electric 20MM rotary cannon. It is mounted in most US aircraft. 6000 rounds a minute, 100 rounds a second.

For those in the know - GAU 8 Avenger is a 30mm gatling gun in the A-10 Warthogs. The first models were capable of High rate - 4200 rounds per minute and Low rate - 2100 rounds per minute. After mods in the 80's the gun now fires high rate only. I know, I loaded plenty and repaired them whilst in England in the USAF.

That is called an M61-A1 20mm cannon. It shoots 4000-6000 rounds per minute. The ammo you see with the yellow tip means that it is an HEI round. Meaning high explosive incendary round. I used to load them and work on the cannons in the Navy. 1 round can take the wing off of a B-52!! The A-10 aircraft uses a 30mm version to take out tanks with an API tip. Armor piercing incendary!!
