that security gaurd acted like a high school kid with an ego problem... not at all like an authority figure. he has to do his job... but he should be a pro about it.

The people around him make him out to be the hero!!! But he is just a punk and need his ass truly kick!!!

THIS JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT KIDS TODAY HAVE NO RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY. THE GUARD SHOULD HAVE CALLED POLICE. I VOTE FOR THE SECURITY GUARD. HE SHOULD HAVE BROKEN THEIR CAMERA. WAS AN OBVIOUS SET-UP. GROW UP YOU DUMB PUNKS.

Professionalism no, but the guard did not start it! It's quite apparent the kid had been confronted before. Very obvious that he kept goating the guard to take a swing at him and quite convinent that they just happened to be video taping! Definitely a setup.....glad he got his butt kicked. Younger people have absolutely no respect for anything or anyone. to bad, they don't know what they are missing you keep poking a "rattlesnake" and it will bite. This video just encourages bad behavior!

Just before the guard took the skateboard look what the kid did to tick the guard off. A little tap to the guards leg and it's the straw that broke the camel's back. HAHA

Well, true this might have been a set up but then again it could not be so you are accussing people for nothing they did... Not very fair is it. The guard shoud have called the cops instead of lowering to their level and the kids should have backed off but no need to discriminate...

This "guard" has got to be the biggest, class "A" jerk in the world. I don't know what transpired before the clip was shot, but he handled it all wrong. I've delt in situations very similar to what this "jerk" had to face. If he'd approached them is a civil manner and explained why they weren't to use that area to skateboard (safety, liability, danger to others who may be passing by, possible damage to property and so on), I'd be willing to bet any amount that the kids would have cooperated.

(I'd like to continue...) You can't expect to enforce rules and laws by coming on to the negative. The guard should have used a less threatening tone of voice. And to tell them they were BAD? Well, the kids will certainly try to prove to him that they are bad. Again, negativity produces negativity. This guy needs to find a different kind of job, like maybe counting nuts and bolts in a hardware. Boooo on him!!

That security guard was totally out of line and displayed gross unprofessionalism. It's only right that he got fired for his actions! I hope those kids found a better place to skate. Wish people wouldn't make skateboarding a crime...it's better than having them do drugs or drinking alcohol, isn't it? So why stigmatize it? Adults can be very dumb sometimes. Being one myself, I can truly attest to that!

I've seen this before.. As annoying as the skateboarder can be, the security guard is not even allowed to do that.

the security guard definately did wrong.....he should have never put his hands on those kids......asking them to leave was fine, but he they wouldnt leave, they call the police and let them handle it.......NEVER PUT YOUR HANDS ON A MINOR!!!! THATS TROUBLE!!!!

Been down that road (dealing with skateboarders)...hate those cameras, but if you do your job correctly, nothing to worry about....that guard should be VERY worried!

The kids were wrong to keep instigating the guard but the security guard was totally wrong. he is supposed to be the adult and professional. he had no right to touch any of those kids or their camera. He should have called the police and let them handle it. He is nothing but a wannabe cop that couldn't make the grade. He not only should have gotten fired but if that was my son I would have pressed assault charges on the guard also.

That security guard was really bad...but the skater couldve been less taunting.

I dunno whose side im on, im pretty sure im on the skaters side, the guard was an adult, was supposed to force the law not break it, but the skater shouldnt have been provoking the guard...so, glad the guard got fired and hope the kids learned their lesson...

I say this is a perfect example of the differance between a guard and an officer. Correctional/Police Officers recieve training to deal with difficult people like these skaters. They obviously didn't want to leave as they were asked, but this "guard" was being assaultive before he attacked. Look at his body language and the words he used. Hell I respect the law but I would'nt want to do what this fool asked even if it made sense. The guard is most likely a wanna-be that watches too much "Cops".

The secutiry officer was the one with an attitude problem. He asked them to leave the premesis and they did, but he kept pressuring them to move on while they were on public property, The security officers body language was antaganizing, he was the one asking for a fight, not the skater! It was good to see the skater get some good punches in. I just wish he dropped the guard!

well, i agree with most of the guzer gazers about the security gaurd. yes, he was antagonizing the kid, yes they were on public property when he kept telling them to leave, yes the gaurd was a complete tool, but where is it that the kid "got in some good punches?" looks to me like the gaurd was hitting the kid pretty good.

Well, skaters are bitches anyways. And so you know, when a person grinds on a bench or something, it does damage it. And damaging public property is a crime. Therefore, skating is a crime. Suck on that you high school tony hark bam margera wanna be bitches.
