The answer is yes, Mary did go home with extra prizes. She didnt win them but the shows producers decided to give her some prizes including an overseas trip..She was a total mess by the shows end but ecstatic. She lives in remote country Australia and made the trip with her mother to be part of the shows audience. It was the first time in her life that she had ever won anything.
