this is a polish tv skit.the reason he hits her by accident was because he was explaining how big something was.it was funny though.

Not funny at all. Perfect illustration of why corrupt, backwards Eastern Europe and Russia, after hundreds of years still have difficulty aligning with the culture of the West. Basket cases -- sad.
