I hate that. I profess to be a christian, and people like that make me hang my head in shame. What happened to acceptance? What happened to love? Hold your belief close to you, yes. Lash out to hurt others? No way, you're missing the point.

Not at all surprised, I personnaly believe that Christianity is the worst cult that has ever been formed. Oh and "nothing comes close to its accuracy" referring to the bible.. what the hell?? The bible was a book written by a bunch of opium smoking trippers. I'm not even going to begin punching holes in the bible's so called facts, i'd be here all night. Anyway, sad sad people

Actually Sonny, you wont begin puching holes in the bibles because there are no holes to punch. Every day archeologist? prove more and more that the Bible is correct. The so called "nostic" gospels are not even recognized by non believing non christian professors of history. The bible is believed by these professors to be one of the most historical factual compilation of books ever put together.

Dawkins is a winer! He has called the creationists many unsavory things, but in a polite way. If he were to treat those whom he looks down upon with some semblance of respect, then he would get some back. What comes around, goes around!

Actually 139, they way it was arranged has everything to do with it. I could arrange the gospels (all of them not just the ones in the bible) to say anything once I got enough sheep to believe what my translation was. The nickname is to do with poker not drugs just to clear that one up too.

even the catholic church as come to the fact that evolution did take place.. but they also believe that god had a hand in the evolution, and that he commanded it. for the record i was raised catholic..and no i do not believe in "God" but that is my belief.

Yes is has been proven and ofcourse you say it's not. You don't believe it but that doesn't mean it's not proven. You don't believe it because you have believed something else for so long. Religions will die out in the future when everybody has proper education about biology.

I agree SandScorpion although I think faith is a very important thing in everyone's life and it's good to believe in something, there's nothing but physical evidence about evolution. Between scientologists and the bible bashers out there, there are enough weirdos around in the world. The sooner religion becomes obsolete the better (although scientology is a cult, not a religion).
