Friggin' cool!!!! Shit! I'm stumped! This is more awesome than David Blaine's levitation!!!

steelefistSep 19, 2005 3:56 AM
cool! but i reckon he has sum kind of poles or sticks planted in the ground behind his legs in his trousers. he could then lean on them when bending backwards. prettty gud! :-)

Chriss Angel does a lot of tricks, illusions, whatever you call it. I don't know what he does to accomplish these tasks, but perhaps theres more here than meets the eye. Maybe the last poster is right, poles or something. But, you know, it looks pretty cool.

I have heard that it has to do with magnets. something burried in the ground or something.

metalupyorassSep 19, 2005 11:30 AM
david blaines levitation is bollocks! he tip-toes with his feet close together, and the camera is pointed at a certain angle.

there are "no" posts/wires/etc. Look at the shadow on the ground. Plus being in an open area with bright sunlight, you would see any additional attachments in the shadow. This can be done....but I guess none of you have seen "circus olay"??? Plus if you had poles up your pant legs you would not be able to lift one leg without them being seen. If you watched how he got up, it is obvious he is not attached to anything. Look closer...........!

i dunno how he does it

Master SamSep 19, 2005 4:25 PM
Unbelievable

Pinkie909Sep 19, 2005 5:02 PM
Either he put his wheight on his legs, or they pointed the camra in areas where the trick was being...tricked. LOL

YoYoSep 19, 2005 6:36 PM
i dont know! i dont think he could put all his weight on a pole in his pants because he lifts one foot up. this is weird i cant figure it out

kmaxSep 19, 2005 7:55 PM
david blaine is mo betta than this guy! though this trick was dope!

big pimpSep 19, 2005 9:54 PM
he's got some pretty f**king strong legs to hold himself up at a 90 degree angle

lilredridnhoodSep 20, 2005 9:59 AM
didcha see the thong that was so showing on that girl? i know you guys did.

My guess is Criss is wearing some sort of contraption that is wrapped around his chest. A pole or post slowly bends out toward the ground from his back when he is hand helped to the floating position. I imagine they perfomed this trick in the middle of a field so that the shadows and his coat would hide the pole. Let's see him do it naked - the effect probably would'nt be so great then.

pretty awesome trick!

SniperM80Sep 21, 2005 4:04 PM
How dose any one think he did that?

boicrazy73Sep 21, 2005 5:16 PM
dude thats like doin a back bend over but he just has amazing muscle control.

LKaySep 27, 2005 6:29 AM
awesome!! that guy is fantastic......great body control......unbelieveable!!!

Steve_O_TroeSep 30, 2005 9:03 PM
I seriously think its just the case of he can bend back reallllly reallly far with his legs and body....not that he can float....its physically impossible....

joelhelibustosOct 07, 2005 3:57 PM
if i ever do that call me nuts

jchunickOct 14, 2005 5:34 PM
Simply put it's about balance and counter-balance. Notice how he has someone help him lean back slowly? That's because it takes lots of muscle control. What he has is a metal plate in the shoe of the leg on the ground. He's stepping on that which is his counterbalance and probably a piece can be secretly stuck into the ground like a spike. a hinged piece of metal follows up his leg & can probably be locked somehow. It's rigged and set up beforehand just like the levitation trick.

this dude is freaky

Angel JinFeb 22, 2006 7:21 PM
I reckon he has a pole attached to his back that swings down when he leans backwards. then his back leans on that pole wich is concealed by his shirt.

ShibblydooApr 16, 2006 11:23 AM
Pretty simple - he has a device down the back of his leg which allows him to bend back up to a certain point, then locks in that position. A bit like the spine in your back, it has flexibility to a certain point and then each individiual component locks in at that position. He is in effect leaning on this device on his legs - this routine will still take a lot of practice and strength, but ishelped of course by being lowered down gently. When he finds the correct balance, he can lift one leg up.

when ever hes goin down look on his back like every 2 secs a little string is comin out look for ur self

overywellJun 26, 2006 8:17 PM

nossquirrelJul 04, 2006 4:46 PM
who cares how he did it, that is why he is called the mind freak! hats off to a genius in his own right!

pysSep 05, 2006 6:53 PM
beats me how he does it

petrellaproductionsJul 19, 2008 7:25 PM
watch how to levitate on youtube by Petrellaproductions it has nothing to do with how he does this but it's cool

mikey AJul 24, 2008 8:05 PM
David Blaine's levitation trick is easy to figure out. Blaine just does the old Balducci Levitation trick that has been around for a while. I don't know how Criss does this.

jcAug 08, 2008 4:06 PM
he uses a exact amount of helium to make him float if is lifted off the ground with a small push

SimpleAug 27, 2008 10:17 PM
look at the micriphone above the shot..invisible thread is ran from the mic under chris onto another item such as a camera that lifts...so the wires are pulled tight so its stiff and strong enough to hold him up
