Another gutless white coward cop! I'm a correction officer and I never made a convicted felon lay down in order to handcuff. American citizen are treated less human then convicted felon..These white cop are punks without gun and taser. That woman would have kicked his butt. This must be how white men treat their wives and children.

As you can see from the video, the woman is clearly not restrained. She is resisting arrest and she got what you get when you fight back against police officers. Plus this lady and others are int the street wearing masks, they don't look like some peace organization. She wasn't hurt either. I am a firefighter and we work with the local cops a lot. I was tased in a demonstration and it hurts like hell but when the electricity stops you don't feel a bit of pain.she's only shocked for 3 sec.

I am a Police Officer, and those officers were completely within their rights. She was, for starters, NOT restrained, she was also non-compliant. Less than lethal weapons are designed to prevent the escalation of force. That taser put a stop to further conflict that could result in injury to herself and others. It is also important to know that before an officer is certified to use a taser, they must be tased themselves. It is not something taken likely. Tasers are an excellent tool.

I don't know who wrote the caption for this video, but you are incorrect! The woman is restrained only after she is hit by the taser. These officers were justified 100% in their actions. The woman was not complying therefore she was tasered. If you knew anything about criminal justice studies and case law, the taser is approved to use after a subject provides non-compliance to police commands. Maybe next time you should think before you speak so you don't appear to be ignorant.

F.Y.I. The woman that was tazed was involved in a riot in the Duquesne section of Pittsburgh. What you do not see in this video is the rioters assaulting a female and male police officer that were first on the scene with bottles, rocks and other items. When ordered to disperse the woman and four other men challenged the police officers and were subsequently subdued by backup officers that arrived on scene. All actions taken by the officers were found to be warranted by the circumstances.

For starters she is not in restraints and if she would not obey verbal commands then the lvl of force must go up.

without knowing all the facts..it can not be judged as to whether they were right or wrong. Most law enforcement does the best they possibly can, I don't think the majority go out to delibertly hurt people for no reason. They taser here all the time, seems to be a better alternative than a "bullet".

She was not restrained, she was not complying with the officers demands and the shocks that she received were less likely to harm her than having 3 or 4 big burly officers forcing her arms to bend in directions that human arms arent meant to be be bent. You should not speculate or even comment on matters of which you are obviously not knowledgable of..this only contributes to the spread of misinformation. Why dont you ride with an officer and get an inside dose of reality.

this women is a lay down protester. the simple fact that she is lying down in the middle of the street is a violation of law. taser are meant to be used on none copliant subjects to avoid using a baton. example ..put your hands behind your back..no!! ok zap.. although the ofc. deployed the taser it does not appear that he lit hes ass up, other wise she would not have been able to wine about the barbs in her ass. you want compliance, 50,00 volts will get her done
