I really don tlike cops, and they CAN be assholes (Such as this dude) But..he was at the side of the freeway, and he shouldnt have really stopped at the side of the road like that. Amazing, and was that a doctor cuffed?!

The reporter is free to report in a safe location, which he was NOT in. You cannot just pull over on the left shoulder of a highway. It is dangerous. Funny how the so called reporters left that out. If they would have moved then they would have been just fine. The cop has a lot on his mind and doesn't have time to argue with a stupid reporter about it.

Don't you appreciate living in a community where someone else does the dirty work of making sure it's safe? I suppose we could try doing it for ourselves, but I guess most are too busy. Guess that means we have to risk letting someone else do it. Course they're human beings..not perfect, but mostly honest. Don't rake all over the coals just because a few make human mistakes in a hot moment.

Kmax, I agree that a reporter's "job" is to report. However.. How many reporters do their jobs these days? Used to be they went out and found the facts. Now it seems they pre-determine the facts they want to present (according to their preset agenda) and simply go out and find a couple of people to agree with them. Anyway, cops can't "serve" unless people respect their authority to do so.

the officer was in his right, the reporter is on the shoulder, on the freeway in a high risk area, putting his and the cameramans life in danger

the cops were butts! the reporter is part of the media his job is to report.. as long as he stays out of the way of the investigation etc. they got out in 1 hour! LOL! and the cop hopefully got in trouble. he is public SERVANT..

Chances are, the cop was out of line, but so was the reporter. Some have you have said the right thing.. When a cop tells you to do something, do it. ..otherwise you deserve what you get, be it taser, cuffs, gas, rough treatment, or whatever. Being a reporter in no way makes you immune to this.

Most of you are too quick to believe what the news agency wants you to believe. a) you have no idea what happened before/after what you saw, b) it's hard to tell whether or not what you saw was edited or not, c) you saw EXACTLY what the news agency wanted you to see, and 4) they prepped in a way that pre-disposed you against the cop. Whatever happened to just reporting fact without taking sides?

There's a completely different reason NOT to give money to the "Benevolent Order of Police" and other such organizations. Most of the money never makes it to where it's intended..the police. Sorry Pinjas.. you seem to have a hard time making a comprehensible statement. None of what you say really seems to make a point.

This is typical behavior of cops today and it is sickening. I think people applying to police academies should undergo stringent personality testing and evaluation to qualify for admittance. This is one reason why I refuse to donate to the "Benevolent Order of Police". What benevolence do they show?

I -HIGHLY- recommend every single one of you that gives a s h i t and cares enough to retain his/her independence and freedom to do some studying on oligarchy, corporations, the US constitution, pearl harbor, JFK, 9/11 and then the rest of the path and studies should come naturally to any slightly intelligent human.

If a cop tells you to do something and you find it to be against your civil rights, smash his face open and form a large group that goes against such things. Oh I know of one that used to be just like that, it was called the united states of America. If you don't have a gun, then you are a slave, they will do far worse to you than this.

This isn't an issue of the police, this is part of the cops job now everywhere. This is an issue of our country, our nation and our culture is dieing and many stand, complacent and idle watching it as they waste away there time playing video games and watching the news after they work there minimum wage jobs.

I think the cop should be fired!! We have these things call civil rights and freedom of press. He doesn't know or care about the law he is getting paid to inforce. It is cops like this that give the good ones a bad name. Think about how he would have been if he didn't know he was on film! fckn pig!

It's not like reporters actually "report" these days, anyway. Cop may have had his hands down the reporters pants, but just about all reporters already have their hands down Obama's pants to begin with.

I vote for the cop. Reporter was a jackass, and of course you're only seeing what the news team wants you see.

there are crooked cops out there, so dont listen to every cop you come across. make sure they are not violating your constitutional rights. in this case the right to film in public as long as its not interupting the officers job. the cop clearly jump the divider to confront the news crew as if he had something to hide.

no one likes to be stalked and filmed. And it's true more for men than women. The french media has Princess Diana killed, and all they can say that it's their "liberte".
