Yeah this actual house is right down the street from me and the police made them shut them off because they were blocking the whole street with people watching it was all over the news.

There is DEFINITELY a musician in the house -- probably someone that plays piano/keyboards. Keep your eyes on the upstairs windows. This ROCKS! And as to the bone-head that says "I've seen better? Where? Prove it!

Yes, this is a real house. The software used to do this is from lites-o-rama or something. I have done many searches over the web for this and finally found the software to download. By simply doing a search for Christmas Lights Display, I found a site where the owner of the house describes how he did it and also gives links to the software so anyone can download it. It's pretty cool.

I saw this on the today show. He connects his light and uses am radio station to play the music froma remote. It took 9 months to develop it, he is an electrical engineer..figures very cool

for all those people that read my last comment i meant he is a computer enginare but still imagine what it would be like in that house when thos lights go off

AMAZING, iv seen things where a comp plays lights to music but this is incredible!

hey that display was done buy a computer technition when his wife told him to put up christmis lights and u can actually drive to his house and tune in on his radio channel and the lights will play to the music in ur car there are three song si heard about it on the news

I love that house.

They just talked about this display on the local Detroit news. Its a home in Mason, Ohio. It's actually last years display. They said he is working on a new one for this year. Check the Today Show on Monday, he's supposed to be there. I think its awesome.

that was the bestest most awesomest christmas lights display I've ever seen!!

for those saying it was done by just taking a bunch of pictures and then putting them together in a 'slideshow' with music.. there is a tower on the left side of the house that blinks constantly.. if this was a 'slideshow'.. why would they go through even putting the blinking tower in there.. just to make people think its not a fake.. as for me.. that is one of the coolest things I have every seen.. amazing!

That right there was bad ass

While it is pretty awesome, you can see from the grass in front of the camera this was done using stop-motion. ie. they took a crapload of different pics with different lights lit and put them together on the computer. still pretty cool.
