there really are other lifeforms out there in space.
sure they might not be the stereotypical looking aliens, but just think how bloody big space is and the fact that we are the only intelligent species occupying one planet, with millions and millions of planets and galaxies out there, why, once both our technology becomes highly advanced, we will be able to search for one another in space, and thus, making "alien"s true.
remember, to an alien, we are aliens to them. :)
... but I believe there is also alot of space 'crap' that is floating around out there too!
