The cat attack part was real -- he's obviously done it before. He follows the guy out to the yard and gets into the starting blocs, excitedly wiggling his little bum. As soon as Forrest there starts his broke-dance, the little b@st@rd attacks. Those claws and teeth can HURT and I don't blame the guy for swatting him away. The cat hitting the camera seems too good to be true, though.

Yes it's a fake. The cat doesn't have enough velocity to be tossed that high in the air and land on the camera some 15ft away.
