it hit the plane.. but 90% of pilots are able to land an airliner without instruments.. skillz lol but yea lightning hits planes.. not alot but it happens

Yes this is how it happens they say sometimes the instruments can get messed up but they built little dots on the airplane that act as lightning rods that carry it through the outside of the plane and then it exits out the back for the ground.

More reason to keep your testicles inside the airplane at all times.. what? yea, so I'm tired.. nothing to do..

Planes are hit by lightning all the time, they say that every commercial airplane is struck at least once a year.

This is a famous clip - the plane was hit by lightning and was perfectly OK. - They're designed to take it. In fact I was on a 737 once that was hit on approach to landing..

The aircraft are build to handle this kind of things, it is not serious deal, i would be worried if the lightning hits the engines.

nah i dont think the plan was infront of the lightning, because you can see how it hits the front and comes out through the back, those people are lucky nothin bad happened

I am not sure. The plane could just be right in front of the lightning.
