Dirt bike Rides On Water - Cool Videos

This video will probably cause some debate. They say that this bike was going so fast that he rode on top of the water. I tend to think that the water was just really shallow. What do you think?

Its real, if u go fast enuf the tyres can keep it above the water. Just like if u could run quick enuf in flippers u cud actually run on water

symmetrickzJun 12, 2006 6:22 AM
yeah, its real. Its an actual sport, done with buggies

nossquirrelJun 12, 2006 7:32 AM
totally real! 75 mph plus, seen it done in person. I've also seen them get squirly and take a dive. there are lots of these videos out there, and even videos with dune buggies, quads, and even light trucks flyin' across the water.

This can be done if you have the speed. I have seen snowmobiles ride on water as well. If you stop, you are going DOWN!!!

wuzJun 12, 2006 2:39 PM
i really think that wuz a large water puddle

NihilusJun 12, 2006 4:57 PM
i can tell u this is impossible on a motorcycle, u would have to be going faster than the speed of sound to be riding on top of water, but with a snowmobile, its possible cause it has boards which disperses the snowmobiles weight over the water

oonse thinks that he is oonse a goolf coourse and oonse is riding on oonse golfball bridge.

o course its real. Ive done it b4. u dont even have to go very fast like 50mph will do it easily

hbp92Jun 12, 2006 8:56 PM
I think the water was really shallow, look at the edges, you can see the muddy water. It's not possible to ride on the water, you would have to sink in a little bit and you would slow down. It's called common sence!

Chaos TheoryJun 13, 2006 12:43 AM
Done it all you have to do is use a pattle tire.

shuttlechampJun 13, 2006 7:54 AM
well it is possible, i have seen it done but the water does look shallow so im not sure he is. Can be done though

whatever_manJun 13, 2006 9:42 AM
i think it wasnt deep maybe 2 inches but it still looked like it so hay its cool

dehydrochlorideJun 13, 2006 5:27 PM
looked cool, but i doubt it was really on the water.

joelhelibustosJun 13, 2006 9:11 PM
goos thing it was not to deap

neroJun 13, 2006 10:01 PM
woah, its like hes walking on water

dobby240Jun 14, 2006 4:02 PM
theory says that he should be able to do that but he will not go very far for very long so its not really that real lol

mastrcheefJun 14, 2006 5:14 PM
Rofl, the water was shallow, that's it.

joecrackoJun 16, 2006 12:57 PM
no matter how shallow that water may be, going that fast will have the bike hydroplaning even on an inch of water. It is entirely possible!

AWESOMOJun 20, 2006 5:23 PM
Of course its judt shallow, the water body is hardly a puddle.

slendAug 07, 2006 6:29 PM
you know the water is like 6inches long

f2535Aug 11, 2006 3:01 PM
It's true. I've done it, I was going around 70mph when I was doing it. It is just like hydroplaning a car.

cr125rfoxAug 21, 2006 10:07 PM
It can be done, just like with a snowmobile the key is never to let off the throttle with the bikes, speed is much more crusial Watch the way the back of the bike is going back and forth on the water, if he had that much power going to the ground under the water there would be mud mixed into his roost, not only that but watch how the bike pulls a wheelie once the rear tire reaches the shore, whew.

snakemanSep 12, 2006 4:49 PM
Look at the back tire as he comes out of the water. the damn thing is almost half under water!! of course it is shallow water!! you can see the golf flag in the back ground I believe. Looks cool, but you aint gonna do it on a bike, snowmobile yes, but bike is to skinny and no weight dispersement. You all need to grow up. Or if you think it is real try it in a lake yourself, and I will buy your flooded out bike when you fish it out!!

cr125rfoxSep 26, 2006 7:29 PM
"bike is to skinny and no weight dispersement" Ever mono-skied on water? thats a small amount of area to dispurse weight on too, but people do it every day. Speed is the factor. Just about anything can hydroplane, i have seen many accidents where motorcycles have hydroplaned and crashed, and a road bike weighs a lot more than a dirt bike

noahSep 02, 2008 6:09 PM
im gonna get a yamaha 125cc could i ride on top of the water at top speed through a 4inch puddle
