big deal,, people surfe waves biigger than that in secret spots just down south from where i live

..well i'm pretty sure you're stupid to believe that anyone would do that to themselves.. almost sure death. And you wouldn't believe what film editors can do these days

Was a Hurricane wave! See the sinking boat behind him and the wash into the streets..Hawaii and Mavericks of CA have just as big or bigger waves.. the guy is a professional surfer, prob.from CA since he's got a full wetsuit on..and straps on his board to keep him from falling.

Hey Sandman, most of these bloggers don't even know who Greg Noll is. Try names like Kelly Slater or Gerry Lopez.

I've seen men ride those sized waves even with galeforce winds. One man in particular; Greg Noll although how he got out there is a mystery. WOW

hurricane surfing is more than just waves, winds are in gale force the winds of over 80 miles an hour would have thrown any surfer off besides the breaking in hurricance waves are different. this was not a true video..i agree, it was an edited or commercialized program.

I cannot see anyone doing this. During a Hurricane the waves are wild and crazy and unperdictable. I live in HURRICANE ALLEY and if there are waves like that, I guarantee you everyone will be getting out of town. If anyone stays they are brainless.

that seems like something out of a commercial--no way could you get pounded by a wave that size and still come out surfing

Wasn't that a powerade commercial? I hate to break it to you guys but that was some film editing magic. They mixed some hurricane footage with a guy riding a big wave.. but not that one. Check out some other powerade commercials and you will understand.
