You cannot mess with Mother Nature, she'll turn on you when you least suspect it..that's why Mankind better stop messing with building in areas that can collapse...they were lucky this time..Me, I'm smart...I will never live or built anything that has a hill or MOUNTAIN...dump assess

gloriagirlJul 13, 2005 5:23 AM
TO LKAY: keep looking into California news..they have that shit there all the time..and you know what, these people are still building in areas that is going down faster than you can say "OH NO, ANOTHER LAND SLIDE.

Dee17Jul 13, 2005 8:17 AM

Talk about an eerie sight! Mother Nature is not to be denied her powers. I'm sure glad that I don't live in an area prone to landslides. my part of texas is pretty flat. All I have to worry about is hurricanes.

starfist101Jul 14, 2005 12:03 AM
i dont know who was taping that on foot, but id definatly be the guy in the chopper

Awesome in the original sense of the word, I swear this video makes my blood run cold and my gut clench. I find it almost impossible to stop watching it over and over, like not wanting to look at a gruesome wreck but being unable to stop oneself. Utterly chilling, brrrrr!

jammyjayJul 26, 2005 7:00 PM
looks like my ass to the toilet in the morning

JookerJul 29, 2005 8:42 PM
by the first view its look like smoke - by my second view i have seen the trees sliding downhill. the weather as devil...

dottieAug 09, 2005 5:16 AM
That is both frightening and awesome. My compliments to the photographer.

Steve_O_TroeAug 09, 2005 10:18 AM
wow, that really took a chunk out.......sorta weird how they wernt worrying about those telephone lines at all

Dragon 1Oct 09, 2005 11:04 AM
steve_o_troe.....you don't worry about things you can do nothing about. The "high lines" were the least of their worries!!! This happens in california all the time, yes it has been on the "news"....but I don't think too many of you watch the "news"! Landslides are caused from the ground absorbing too much water leaving the soil unstable, which eventually turns into a "landslide". What appears to be smoke, is "dirt"! It's a dirt "avalanche" and as with snow gains momentum as it moves down hill.

neroFeb 06, 2006 6:41 AM
my god that was huge

nossquirrelApr 18, 2006 10:58 AM
