OMG What a huge embarrassment. I am glad I am not in her shoes!

i guess i would have practiced until i at least new the words by heart.. i dont blame her for giving up..

humm..I would have been embarrassed, but I think I would have made the best of it after I went and got the words after I fell and just sang it from the ice laying flat on my back..hahahha..

That poor girl! I wouldve crawled under a rock and just died!! It was a day when everything that couldve gone wrong, went wrong!

Lol, after 3 strikes, you have to give up! Unless you are 3 years old, then it is ok to make 'boo boos' and people laugh it off. But this one, is just so major. I have been in front of 100's before, and I once forgot the words of the 2nd line. But I pulled it off :) Once your heart starts beating 100 beats per second, it distracts you from getting it right. It was time for her to throw in the towel..

I applaud her for her courage, she should have gone ahead with her singing! She had a lovely voice from what little we heard of it,would like to hear her sing The National Anthem sometime. I feel she could do a great job of honoring our country!!

Oh for sure she can sing! SHe is pretty and has a great voice! Just can't remember the words. Hey, I can't sing the Canadian anthem, so I give her credit for trying!

I also applaud her courage, and am appauled at the laughter she received apparently on the air when she fell. She does have a beautiful voice & tried. I remember my embarrassment in third grade (eons ago) when I was to lead the Pledge of Allegience in front of an all-school assembly.. I walked out on the stage, mustered up all the courage I had and prayed not to stutter.. said "we will now say the Pledge of Allegience" then walked off stage; was even tougher to go back out there and "LEAD" it!

That sucks.. I mean lets give her credit at least for coming out to try again.. and she was hot! Mmm, and canadian! I have a friend who's Canadian.. I like to call him Canada!

What can i say, the girl had the worst luck ever.. And I for one..would be so frek out that I think I would have hid under a rock

Poor Girl. I just want to cry for her..you can just see how embarrassed she was. It kinda looks like she might have hit her head on the step too. OUCH!

ARE YOU AMERICANS KIDDING?? Hello. Who knows more about the U.S.. What do most American's know about CANADA? Right, that's what I thought. Listen, she was absolutely horrible. But to say what do Canadian's know is ridiculous!! After travelling to the USA more than dozens of times I can say confidentally we know more about YOUR Country than you have learned in any school about CANADA. NO question. Hands down. Period.

it takes alot of guts to get up in front of any one to sing and even more guts to try it a second time after screwing up! now regardless if she was canadian mexican or green with purple polka dots who are we "Americans" to think that we are greater then anyone else God has created!
