I know that Nick believes in god (I don't know his precise religion but I will guess catholic) and all but anyone with any belief should take heed of his message. What Nick does with his life is the best anyone could do with their life, he's a modern day Christ. Full respect to the man.

Me again, Hope you stock with the words i offered. God will lead you through and all your burdens will be cast away. This is only for a period of time. This isn't even your body, this is temporary. Because this body will rot when you die. You are going to meet God when you die so it doesn't matter what your body is. You are the person inside of it. The outer person isn't you.

Keep strong eventhough people may critisize, don't take ie on. Show them that you are unique and not epileptic. God makes each of us different but he just choose to make you special. Remember God won't give you a burden that you cannot handle so carry on and show people the amazing thing you can do.

Your superb story arrived when I TRULY needed it most, after downloading grades until midnight, waking up to finish at 3:30 am which happened immediately following 6 days of waking up at 4:30 am to prepare for 1 hour parent meetings, ending @ 7 or 8 pm, covering 5-6 handwritten pages on each of their teenage student's yearly goals for Special Ed. That was in addition to the regular daily teaching curriculum and homework to correct (and not even touching on personal or family needs,i.e.,editing our foster daughter's 6 pg.assign.for high school. BUT MOST OF ALL, I WISH I COULD SHOW YOUR STORY toO EVERY ONE of my Middle School kids who, DAILY, have SEEMINGLY INSURMOUNTABLE CHALLENGES (One such student, who was overcome by all listed below took his own life one year ago); LOW ECONOMIC, USE or SALE of DRUGS, VIOLENCE/PHYSICAL ABUSE, DEEP

Nick i really admirer you, like some people say they have everything but don't do nothing with it.. I can see that self pity is not what your teaching and that's what poeple need to understand these days it won't get you anywhere .. so like you said get up and keep trying and don't give up God Bless You

just wow! if even half the whole-bodied people on earth embraced life with his perspective, can you imagine how much better our world would be? i can.

truely an awesome guy, there are people that have all there limbs and all bodily functions working yet they lay around and feel sorry for themselves..this guy not only doesn't feel sorry for himself he incourages and inspires others..truely awesome.

Holy crap, he went on a freakin surf board! Some humans that have arms and legs won't swim, they will sink. This guy got onto a surf board and he still did it despite knowing his only option was to sink. Yes I know he likely had a bunch of dudes ready to pick him up, but it's still a pretty brave thing to do.
