This is not something new. Ever episode of the simpsons is same except for two hings. Fisrt, the sentence Bart writes on the board is different, and next is the end when the entire family is on the couch. These thing change ever episode, and the Halloween episode has been different as well. Perhaps you may have seen the live action opening. It is the same as the one we jsut saw except real people.

All the episodes of the Simpsons start the same with 2 exceptions: The sentence Bart types at the beginning and the family as a whole on the couch at the end.
