I'm Charly. I'm 47, from Memphis, and retired on disability. I love reading (almost anything) and have a personal library of over 5,000 books. Needless to say, moving (I did, last month) is an undertaking akin to laying the Trans-Atlantic cable. I also write (short fiction), play games (card, board computer) and once was an actor/lounge singer until two major strokes and a dozen or so minor ones took my voice. Still sing, but only when I'm alone.

I remember seeing that footage on the news. It was from the Kobe, Japan Earthquake in '95 or '96.
