Helicopter Crash LandsJan 15, 2008 11:10 AM
There are a few things that could have caused this. My guess is that it was a engine failure and the guy was trying to autorotate in for a landing. Just lost to much rotor headspeed and pounded it. It could also have been a high altitude landing and he just lost good air.
Cool Image TechnologyJul 12, 2007 4:00 PM
If they can mainstream this, its gonna be great. Of course the first application of this technology is in the iPhone navigation, which is kinda funny since Mac released it before Microsoft. So sorry Bill Gates, while you were wasting time with Vista, Mac is once again releasing the future. I cant wait for an OS with this kind of technology.

Amazing Firepower From The US ArmyMar 21, 2007 2:41 PM
Thats not firepower. GE makes that thing. If you want to see real firepower, go look up the Airforce C-130 gunships, and watch them do a duster. They can put one round in every square foot of a football field in less than a second..thats firepower

Looks like a Yamaha R1..190mph. The bike that passed him was a Hayabusa..probably doing 2Ton.
Optical CamouflageMar 21, 2007 2:23 PM
It is a camera trick. You can do similar effects in Adobe Premier using alpha channels. Its the same effect they used in "Predator" to make the predator invisible. Nothing special, just a cool effect.
Thunder Bird Plane CrashesMar 21, 2007 2:20 PM
That was a US AirForce Thunderbird pilot. The voices you hear in the background are the other thunderbird pilots. You hear "Thunderbirds Knock it off" then "One Knocking off" then "Two Knocking off" This is the command for all the thunderbirds to stop all demonstrations, and clear the area because something bad just happened. The "One Knocking off" just means that the pilot in the number one plane, heard the command and is exiting the demonstration area, and stopping all aerobatics
