just a curious guy from canada I am married, been married for more than 30 years. I am an author of history books based on the community in Canada where i live. I had been actively employed for many years in auto racing, politics and newspaper/radio. Been there Done that so to speak. Had a lot of fun through the years, always did what my imagination siezed upon, have no regrets. Love the Guzer page, I come in every day to check things out.

The child could easily suffer dislocated joints from such an idiotic stunt. The guy must be totally without any common sense, in short, he is a lunitic.

This was Ma & Pa Kettle, they did a number of movies. Quite a rage in the day. It proved one thing, comedy could be done without today's brashness, crudeness and certainly no viloence. It really was a great time and thats coming from an old man. Doubt most youngster would appreciate it. But take it from me, Ma & Pa Kettle were classics.

I may be accused of being just an old man, but come on, isn't this an example of absolute total stupidity. And to think my taxes go toward educating people like this. Sure gives me a real feeling of security when I am really older and need the young people to care for me in society

The race was a supporting event to the Toronto Molson Indy car race. The people helping the car were not pit crew members but in fact the track safety workers. I don't know how badly the man was injured but i do know he was not killed.

I have owned a few race cars over the last 40 years and can tell you with almost total certanty that this care expired (blew up) caused by exceeding its rev limit. The fire came as a result of the engine oil actually reaching a temperature high enough to ignite. Also, helped of course by the fact that there wouldn't be much left of the engine block, pistons, valves and anything else that is desgined to move slower than it was forced to

Actually, if you look close you will see that there is a motorcycle beside the vehicle, which is in fact, a covered side-car attached to the motorcycle

Both drivers lived. Canadian driver Jeremy Dale syffered tremendous injury to both his legs. Can't remember how badly the other driver, who was an Italian F1 driver at one time, was injured, but I do recall at the time that they both did survive.
