I consider myself to be open-minded, liberal politically (and hey, I vote!), and somewhat of a punk goth in attitude(I was born on Halloween...'nuff said!). I was educated in Catholic school until my last three years of high school, went right to work, decided to explore this country and my mind, so I set off for California (I'm from New Jersey originally) to find the promised land, so to speak. Been to Alaska a couple times (two summers processing salmon, one winter in Dutch Harbor processing crab...brrrr!) and would love to go back sometime. Been to Puerto Rico a few times (to visit my mother, who's from there) and love the people, not the climate (too muggy!). I'm interested in geology, quantum physics (as a layman...the math is waaaay beyond me), astronomy, philosophy, martial arts, and cooking!

These guys were incredibly stupid. Why didn't they just push the car forward a little? Why not pull it out at a sharper angle? DUH!! And was the car in gear? What a bunch of dodo brains!

That security guard was totally out of line and displayed gross unprofessionalism. It's only right that he got fired for his actions! I hope those kids found a better place to skate. Wish people wouldn't make skateboarding a crime..it's better than having them do drugs or drinking alcohol, isn't it? So why stigmatize it? Adults can be very dumb sometimes. Being one myself, I can truly attest to that!

Pretty damn scary situation there in Iraq. A graphic example of why we should get our people the HELL out of there! Yeah, yeah, I know these are soldiers and trained for this stuff, but still, it's obvious we are not wanted over there. Bush made a mistake in putting us in harm's way in the first place. What's next? Iran? North Korea? Detroit?

I think it was very rude of those guys to do that to Tom Cruise! They should get some time in jail, and maybe do some community service. Celebrities are just like everyone else, people with feelings. Whatever you may think of his movies, his religion, or his personal life, that doesn't give you carte blanche to be rude!
