actually, he's really not particularly good at this trick. i've seen others perform this trick way more convincingly. he makes it painfully obvious that he has a strand of monofilament attached to the card.

the video actually seems edited at 2 places; once when he lifts the sheet (it's flat, then billowing in a split second), then at the tower (the camera angle changes a tad right before the sheet reaches the tower). its hard to make a judgement without knowing it this is the full clip or if it was edited to make it a little shorter for internet viewing.

can someone explain to me why idiots like these guys do these things? it doesn't prove you're cool or tough, or anything of the sort. it merely proves what morons they are. i can see taking a beating if you're trying a skate or bike stunt, but to bash someone over the head just because you're bored is a special kind of stupid! even johnny knoxville would shake his head in disappointment and disgust.

Yes, there are a few people who manage both singing and acting careers because they are able to. However, catching a lip syncer indicates that this is a person who can't handle it. There is NO reason to lip sync outside of you not having the CHOPS, STAMINA, TALENT, and overall SERIOUSNESS. Real singers go thru great lengths to protect their voices and keep them in shape. Clearly, one who lip syncs does not take it as serious.

It just goes to show you these girls who wish to have both singing and acting careers don't have what it takes to do both! Anybody can go into a studio and sound good. It's what you do in front of a live audience that defines how much talent you have. They should just leave the singing to real singers, and stay with the acting -- and vice versa for singers who want to act!
