HOW FAR DOES THAT SMOKE BLOW OUT?

this is normal. the clock keeps on running after take-off: -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, .. what you see is 8 seconds AFTER blast-off.

I still think my world wide engineering idea is far better than this.

taps929 is right - also - the viewing area is 3 miles from the launch pad, so you see the launch first, then the sound wave hits a few sec after. IT IS LOUD!

actually the clock runs forward after the countdown so its 8 secs into the launch
