ztub..I will agree that Mt Saint Helena was a major earth moment..but these dust storms take place in deserts on a regular basis. If you lived in Arizona you would see them every summer!! They are very dangerous and cause plenty of damage. We have had up to 115 mph winds clocked, which is hurricane force. zero visibility and plenty of injuries from flying depree. You don't mess with "Mother Nature"!
run! what are people doing taking pictures of it!!
I still say this is scary
Run for youre life.Awesome photo

That aught to put the fear of God in us! Wow, nature is powerful.
It's real, I was in one in Texas, they will take the paint right off your car, worse then any thunderstorm I've ever be in.
++ wow the biggest sandblaster ++
Thats one big sand pile
Ally30, Sure it's real. All you have to do is talk to someone who was stationed in Iraq to hear about them. They are huge and very dangerous.
Wow. i'd hate to be the guy taking that picture.
the people there are squished
I sure am glad I don't live there!!
I rather live in earthquake country
I got caught in one of these in central Arizona in the mid 80's, something else.
woah that would of scared the crap out of me
Awsome yes, But let me tell you, That is dangerous.
It can tear you apart..read on it..infact..the people who live in the desert, run fast, or cover themsleves before it hit's them
Good Shot! If you lived in Arizona you would see these. Mostly during the last part of the summer season. But they can be "huge" spreading out over a mile in width. Amazing aren't they?!
Do you really think this is real?
