It's probably intentional. The reason I say this is because funny things are more likely to be remembered, and you might even tell your friends about it, which is free advertisment. Soon someone taked a pic, and then it's all over the web, attracting more attention, and once in a while one of the people that see's it will actually live near there and decide, "Hmm... I wonder how the food is."
