It didn't fall off the platform. It was actually on the pavement and the load was too much. It just flipped the back off the forklift up onto the dock.

It didn't go off because it wasn't armed. Bombs and missiles need to be armed before they work. SURE, if you dropped it off the top of a building it would be a different story, but a little bump like this is nothing to worry about.

That "bang" you heard wasn't the bomb exploding, that was the forklift driver breaking the sound barrier as he ran off..

for one he has to hit the end cape to even detanate it so i would not even been scared.

Actually the Bomb would not have gone "off" if dropped from 10,00 feet. It needs to be 1st fused, then "armed" which is done on the flight line, just before take off. In some cases, they are armed "hot" on the bomb run, otherise heavy falling block of steel

I bet the reason why the driver isn't in the picture is because she shit his heart out.

1st the bomb is a training bomb it was being ready to be ship out to the field for crew training. 2nd The driver is sitting to the left you can see his leg and his hardhat he was waiting for us to get done writing up the report for the brakes failur and waiting for another Hi-Life to replace it. 3rd It did shake him up a little but he did all the right things he was thaugh to do,its more than I can say about the kids I got around here. END OF STORY!

I wonder if the driver is still driving forklifts by now..
