This picture is so pretty. It's an inspiration to me and my daughter. It shows the importance of prayer and faithfullness. The mom should really be proud that no matter what people say or people claim it's their baby, you are the real mother, no one can take your baby. Dont even bother suing, imagine how many people have been blessed by this picture?

I'm so happy this picture of my cousin and his dog showed up everywhere! It's just so sad that people claim things that aren't theirs. For all you people saying to stop arguing and to shut up, take a minute and think if that was your son and some stranger decided to claim that is was their son and their dog how you would feel! My godmother/aunt took this picture and the false claimers make me sick

Please stop fighting over this picture. Who cares who it really belongs to, let us rejoice that such a moment was captured. Karen if you want to prove that this is your son then prove it to a court, not online threatening to sue. I would just like to say that if it really is your son you wouldn't be going crazy saying someone stole from you, you would let it pass or prove it to a justice system. That is the right thing to do.

I'm sorry to all the people who would just like to enjoy this picture, that's what the rightful owner wanted. There is always some stupid person there to throw a stick in your spokes. I think the arguing will be over soon, and people will be able to just enjoy this photo again.

I'm pretty sure copyrighting someone else's photo is illegal. It's also pretty idiotic, considering the fact that you obviously can't prove that someone else's picture is your own.

You know, it is a cute picture .. no matter who owns it. James claims the picture to be of him. Karen claims the picture is her's and backs up James. Jen uses the sippy cup as proof the picture could not have been taken in 1991. Forget the cup .. what about the phone and the computer? Neither of those would have been around in '91.

Who's ever picture this is, why wouldn't you want to share it with everyone. Why make such a BIG deal out of something so little. I pray that the fruit of the spirt is outpoured on this site. Blessings

At first I thought you must be a really mean person to claim a child not your own and to hurt my friend. But now I see you really are misguided and believe this is your picture. Karen You asked about Jessebear’s mom. So you do know she is the TRUE owner of this picture, the mother of the boy in it and the owner of the dog – who is still very much alive. Like Anne told you, the dog is a bloodhound. Can’t you see that the ear is so long it’s folded under and resting on top of the paw? He was just a puppy when this was taken. There is the possibility that you have a picture similar to this. But this one was not your’s to begin with. On 12-11-08, someone name Michael said this boy looks so much like his son that they could be twins. So if you never shared the one that was framed, never put it on the internet and don’t know how it got there to begin with? That just proves this could not be your photo. None of us stole from your parent’s house. We’re in MA.

OK well if god knows the truth than you should be ashamed I really don't care anymore I have the claim number the file number and the things within the room. Like I asked before what kind of dog is it? I bet you don't know! I'm tired of this I don't want to sue I simply want my sons memories and moments of his life to be his. I'm sorry if your friend found a cool pic which I'm not sure how it got on the internet and now is scared to admit to her friends that she is a liar and you my friend are a fool!

Karen While you may own a picture similar to this, this picture is not your son. The true owners of this picture are kind and good people who shared this photo with the world. Unlike you, they never threatened to sue anyone or did they ask anyone to remove it from their site or did they tell anyone to stop claiming it as their own. We know how this picture got on the internet. It was not stolen and it doesn't really matter because God knows the truth. I think that you should just let people enjoy it and chill out. You could look very foolish sueing. If you were to sue me I could produce the dog, the child, the picture, the christmas card and the actual owners of this photo. They are my good friends and I live in New England.

Karen. No one stole this picture from you. I know this boy and he is only a few years older that he was when the photo was taken. This photo was NOT scanned – the colors fade when the photo is scanned. This was taken with a digital camera, and was cropped before it was put on a Christmas card. And yes I still have the Christmas card sent to me by this boy’s mother

He is 17 the dog is dead my mother still has the room set up like this and the photo that you see I have the original The reason it looks ;like digital is because it was scanned leave it alone I wish I knew who posted this first I would sue you!

Leslie, I know this little boy. This photo was on a Christmas card sent to me a few years ago when the picture was first taken. Now someone else is trying to claim this is their dog, and the picture is of him when he was younger (now 17)- see the posting by JAMES. This photo appears on some other websites and someone else is claiming it belongs to them. This has gotten this boy's mother, a good friend of mine, quite upset. I don't know about you, but if I had a photo of my son that was this cute, I wouldn't put it away and share it over 10 years later! I will forward your request but can't guarantee she'll agree to it because of these other people making FALSE claims

JAMES THAT CAN'T BE YOU, NO KID WOULD BE PRAYING LIKE THAT AND LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH! I know this boy. He's my friend's little boy and is STILL LITTE - not 17 - and that dog is still VERY MUCH ALIVE. Ask any professional photographer. This was taken with a DIGITAL CAMERA which were not around when you were this age. I know because you're just a year younger than my son and we used the old fashioned 35MM cameras to take pictures then. If they came out in another year, I would have bought one to take better photos.
