I'm pretty certain that even though the USA didn't officially join WW2 at the beginning of the war (due to the American policy of isolationism, which we were trying to follow because of the constitution) that we still sent many arms and commodities to the European allies which allowed them the ability to attempt to fight back. gregg check your history, please dont take this the wrong way, i think highly of anybody that has the guts to fight for his/her country and allies. However I do hate the age old saying of "you brits would be speaking german if it wasn't for our US army" b**lsh*t, most of the times the usa has joined a war in the past it has been at the end, check history and you will see German troops were on the backfoot and retreating when the USA army joined in, Typical CIA tactics typical USA tactics we will back whoever is winning. Now however things are different im sure. and you say there are less and less of us Brits in iraq, infact if you look at the size of your army and the size of our army we still have a higher ratio of troops in active duty than you in iraq and afgan. get you damn facts right first

When I said fall out of the air, I meant just before a chopper crashes, It will hit the ground flat. Not that it would fall out of the air doing any type of maneuvers.

I've seen choppers make far more extreme moves than this. Take the Lynx for example, it can do loops, rolls and backflips without problem and on top of that it's the world speed record holder. And for greg k: fall out of the air? Yeah right.Go to the site flightlevel350, search for "cougar" and take a look at the third vid. And that's what an older helicopter can do..
